Murray is Head of Strategic Engagement and Regional Partnerships at the University of Oxford. He leads a team that develops high-value research collaborations and cross-sector partnerships across all academic divisions to advance the University’s research and innovation priorities and strengthen Oxfordshire’s contribution to regional and national growth. His work focuses on creating mission-aligned partnerships with industry, government and charitable organisations that support impactful research and open new routes for investment in areas of strategic importance.

As project lead for Equinox: Equitable Innovation Oxford, Murray brings together regional partners, national and local government, and community organisations to address structural barriers to innovation. He works to catalyse investment, improve innovation readiness across the region and position Oxfordshire as a globally competitive and equitable centre of innovation.
