Equitable Innovation Oxford (Equinox) welcomes the Chancellor’s announcement of a consultation on a Development Corporation for Oxford, and the additional £400 million investment promised to support growth across the Oxford–Cambridge corridor.

Oxfordshire is a world-leading innovation ecosystem but delivery constraints in transport, utilities, and housing hold back its full potential. We support the establishment of a Development Corporation, which could provide the long-term coordination needed to unlock infrastructure, attract private investment, and deliver inclusive growth across the region.
